A 140 x 190 cm mattress is suitable for two people. A 160 x 200 cm mattress provides more personal space for each sleeper, while a 180 x 200 cm mattress offers even greater comfort. Your choice will depend on your sleeping habits and the size of your bedroom.
Can any mattress be paired with any bed base ?
The mattress and bed base must have compatible dimensions. To choose the right combination, also consider the type of mattress and the suspension system of the bed base. If you are unsure, seek advice from a Gautier advisor.
What is the difference between a slatted bed base and an upholstered bed base ?
A slatted bed base promotes air circulation beneath the mattress. Also equipped with slats, the Gautier upholstered bed base stands out thanks to its fabric covering, offering a more elegant finish.
Which Gautier mattresses are reversible?
The Mélisse foam mattress is reversible. The Muscari, Rouvray, Rossini, Richelieu, and Rabelais models feature a single sleeping surface and should not be flipped for use on the underside.
Which mattress should you choose for a trundle bed ?
Gautier offers a foam mattress specifically designed for trundle beds. Before choosing it, check its dimensions and the available height beneath the main sleeping area.
